Your inner voice, in her healed and pure form, is a powerful help to live an exciting life. You need to be able to listen to her if you want to be the change or be part of the change. I often see how people confuse their inner voice with the voices of their parents, teachers, or other strong influencing people. These voices need to become differentiated from your inner voice in order to make the choices that will lead you directly to your desired satisfaction. The better you are fine tuned to listen to your inner voice and to differentiate, the more powerful you can use your inner voice to create your reality consciously.
Five Steps to get in Touch
These five steps are meant to help you to be more in tune with your inner voice. I keep it very simple and understandable so it will be easy for you to adapt the steps for having in short time already a result.
Step 1 – Simplify your life
Especially now during the time of winter holiday, you can surely find some time to be with yourself, to think about the year that passed by. Go through each single months and ask yourself what actions made things more complicated and what made them easier. Keep the actions which made situations easier and drop all those which made your life more complicated. If you realize that you have not so much to add to the “easier chart” then think about what could have made things easier.
Start to integrate all that simplifies your life and enjoy the effect of it.
Step 2 – Have fun
Having fun in life is missing in so many people’s lives. They try to keep the “fun-flow” somehow going, but the results are not really as good as they could be. Some people are living the opposite. They over do it by just living for fun. They do it so much that they don’t feel themselves anymore. Therefore, enjoy simple things, there are many healthy ways of having a good time, like inviting some friends and play cool board games, talk to each other, understand each other and support each other in your lives.
Step 3 – Reassess your priorities
Become very clear about who you really are and what you really want. Be like Sherlock Holmes and find out what are your deepest desires. When you have discovered them, start to make a detailed plan on how you are going to reach these desires. Get rid of everything that hinders you from reaching them, and go your way. Follow your new priorities and begin to live your dream.
Step 4 – Treat yourself to a day off
Real days off are nowadays for many people super rare. With a day off I mean that you really are unplugged from everything. Take your cell phone and set it off. Range the tablet or laptop, put away your mp3 player and make sure that you are not available during your “mini vacation” from your routine. Be with yourself and enjoy a beautiful place in nature.
Step 5 – Do something unexpected
By doing unexpected things you feel your immediate and natural reaction to it. Through this, you have a direct feedback about yourself. This is so refreshing because in an unexpected situation it is the true you who reacts. Your inner voice can speak loud now. Through the steps you took before, you have prepared your inner voice to be listened to.
Now you are in touch with your inner voice
You simplified your life, you had fun, you reassessed your priorities, you treated yourself to a day off, and you even did something unexpected and your inner voice showed up to talk with you. Congratulations this is the wonderful beginning of a fruitful relationship. Make sure that you repeat step 1 to 5 from time to time and that you stay in a continuous connection with your inner voice. You will see it makes a big difference and magic can happen in your life.
